About Founder

Dr. T. Periasamy is an entrepreneur and accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry. Born in a small village in Karur District, Tamil Nadu, he overcame humble beginnings as a government school student to become an IITian. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from VIT. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) at IIT Madras, publishing nearly 10 papers in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Periasamy began his teaching career as a lecturer at a reputed institute, where he received the Best Faculty Award for his dedication to students. He was also active in extracurricular activities, serving as an NCC officer and training with the Indian Army at the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Kamptee, Nagpur, where he was commissioned as a Lieutenant.
Following his doctorate, Dr. Periasamy worked in various industries, including Eaton Technologies in Pune and the USA, and Mahindra & Mahindra in India. His international experience includes visiting countries like the USA, UK, Germany, and Austria for research and industry collaborations.
As an invited lecturer at prestigious institutions such as IIT Madras and NIT, Dr. Periasamy's passion for teaching led him to become the Director of a renowned coaching institute in Salem. His commitment to student success has made him a highly admired physics teacher, known for his extensive subject knowledge and exceptional teaching skills.
Under his leadership at Classic NEET Academy, 98% of his students cleared NEET 2023, with 220 students securing MBBS seats and 25 achieving BDS seats through the Government Quota. Since 2016, 919 of his students have gained MBBS admissions in Tamil Nadu medical colleges via Government Quota based on NEET marks, marking the highest results in the Salem region for any institute or school.

Now as Director of Classic NEET Academy, he has driven exceptional results, with 98% of his students clearing NEET 2024, securing 276 MBBS and 40 BDS seats through Government Quota. Since 2016, his guidance has led to over 1195 students obtaining MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu, achieving top results in the Salem region.
